- to be transparent and accessible
- help the administration to be efficient, economic and less time consuming
- to link various departments/sections/divisions and units and help
- in better coordination/evaluation and accountability for disposal of papers
1. How quick is the response to queries?
2. How quick is the disposal of cases?
3. How efficient are the mechanisms?
To illustrate the impact of IT and Computerization, we have a few examples of common day use like railway reservations, air travel reservations, banking systems particularly ATM and national and international Communication systems as a whole.
Therefore, if these systems have shown the improvement why not to adopt these systems in the university management as well, and make the system more functional, efficient and informative.
